announced today its strategic partnership with Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO)
of Taiwan. “Our partnership with CMO will give AZ Displays’ customers a
new line of high-performance industrial TFTs in a variety of sizes not
previously available,” said Vignesh Sanmugam, President, AZ Displays.
“The new sizes such as 13.3”, 14.1” and 15.4” are developed and priced
specifically for the industrial market.”
Available in full (4:3) and wide screen (16:9) formats,
the new TFT displays feature pioneering technology that provides a broad
temperature range of -30 up to +85C and a wide viewing angle of
88/88/88/88. A special low-reflection coating reduces sunlight glare,
making the displays ideal for outdoor viewing. The new TFTs come
standard with low-maintenance features including quick exchange slots
for CCFL tubes and LED bars on many models as well as a LED/CCFL MTBF of
50k hours. Additionally, the TFTs end-of-life policy of 15 months
exceeds the industry average.
