AZ DISPLAYS and CMEL Partner to Offer Active Matrix
OLEDs Aliso Viejo, Calif., August 12, 2009 In partnership with CMEL,
AZ Displays announced today its new offering of full color active matrix
OLEDs. We have expanded our product line to include not only the
commonly found 3.4 and 4.3 AMOLEDs but also 2.0, 6.0 and 7.6
diagonals, which are all in mass production, said Vignesh Sanmugam,
general manager, AZ Displays. In addition to our wide product range,
the OLED offering includes touch panel options, minimum of 30,000 hours
MTBF and interface solutions by AZ Displays.
The 3.4 and 4.3 OLED panel models
include extended life time, 8bit serial RGB and 24bit parallel RGB
interface, making them ideal for applications such as portable DVD
player, PMP, GPS or digital picture frame. The 3.4 OLED is available in
three different varieties without touch panel (P0340WQLC-T), with
resistive touch panel (P0340WQLB-T) and with capacitive touch panel
(P0340WQTA-T). The 4.3 model is available in two varieties without
touch panel (P0430WQLC-T) and with resistive touch panel (P0430WQLB-T).
AZ Displays is providing off the shelf solutions to drive both the 3.4
(AZOLED034A) and 4.3 (AZOLED043A) OLED with optional VGA, S-video and
composite inputs.

said Sanmugam. The release of new 2, 6, and 7 size OLEDs will give
our customers the quality solution they desire at the value they have
come to expect from AZ Displays. OLED demos and samples are available

The new, small 2.0 (C0201QILK-C)
OLED panel is perfect for use in small form factor mobile applications
and comes with an expanded life span of at least 30,000 hours as well as
serial data transfer interface (SPI), MPU i80 and MPU i68 interface. The
new 6.0 (P0600HVTA-T) panel has a 4-wire resistive touch panel, RGB
24bit bus interface, 3-wire SPI command setting and a minimum life span
of 20,000 hours. Sample applications include remote controllers.
Finally, the 7.6 (P0760WVLC-T) panel comes with LVDS interface and DE
only mode, supports 3-wire SPI command settings, has a slim profile of
only 4.85mm and a minimum 30,000 hour life span. Portable DVD player,
PMP, GPS or digital picture frames are all potential applications for
the 7.6 model. For more information:
