*PM070WX9 will be available soon. The backlight output of PM070WX9 is rated 1000 cd/m2, making this super-bright display model suitable for outdoor applications.

**A built-in timing (T-CON) chip allows a user to display a content from a computer (VGA resolution of 640 x 480 pixels) on a higher native resolution of the 7” LCD’s (Wide VGA format of 800 x 480 pixels). This function minimizes image distortion when scaling from one dot matrix resolution to another.

***PM070WX1-SRTPRO features a unique sunlight readable touch screen p/n SR4-070F-01N-01 with up to 7 layers of anti-reflection coating and an additional polarizer to redirect the sunlight from entering the surface at a straight angle and preventing it from absorbing too much backlight.

Digital 7” TFT displays can be used for a wide variety of applications to display both full-motion video content and simple graphics (bar graphs, still pictures, or menus). Such applications include medical products, industrial controls, security monitoring equipment, after-market automotive devices, table-top instrumentation, etc.
Wide screen LCD’s are recommended even if full-motion video is not displayed by a user. This is based on the industry’s trend that most devices with color displays may need to upgrade to display video, and eventually all video will be shown in wide screen in a near future. In case of non-video applications, for example, the 16:9 wide screen format allows a user to utilize the largest / “full screen” portion of the 7” LCD for conventional ATM-like or computer-like content (for example menus) and the remaining section for sub-menus (main menu plus sub-menu).
