- AZ Displays, Inc., announces availability of a new graphic chip-on-glass
(COG) display series AGM1264N, which is offered in three alternative color
combinations. Three standard models have the same dimensions and functions, but
differ in background colors:
- AGM1264N-FLW-FTS – black graphics on white
background
- AGM1264N-NLW-BTS – white graphics on blue background
- AGM1264N-FL-FTS – black graphics on yellowish
background

- Graphic resolution of 128x64 pixels or
- 20 characters by 8 rows (each comprised of 5x7 dot
matrix)

- Built-in DC/DC converter for negative voltage to adjust
contrast
The display’s 128x64 pixel resolution makes it suitable both for graphics and
characters (a user can display up to 8 rows of 20 characters by programming
letters of alphabet and digits with their software).
The unusual color effects are achieved by pairing a LCD panel of a certain color
(silver, or blue) with either yellow-green or white LED backlights.
AGM1264N can be operated within a range of 2.4 to 3.6V(DC), due to the low power
features of the built-in LCD controller chip. Higher contrast voltage is
generated with help of a built-in DC/DC converter and a set of external
capacitors. Low power consumption and the three alternative color combinations
allow this display series to be marketed for a broader range of applications
including industrial and gaming control panels, meters, hand-held instruments,
and medical products.
